How to invest on Scramble: step-by-step guide

Whether you are a beginner or an experienced investor, Scramble is very easy to navigate. Follow our step-by-step guide, and setting up the round will take no more than a few minutes of your time.

Step 1.
Review Founders and Make a Decision

Every round Scramble presents you with a vetted batch of founders seeking loans for their businesses. All founders have dedicated pages providing their professional backgrounds as well as information about their businesses. You have up to ten days to decide if you want to fund the batch or not.

Step 2.
Top Up Your Scramble Account
(can be as low as 10 euros)

You can start investing with as little as you want and use a variety of transfer tools for topping up your investing account. Just make sure you transfer money in advance – transferring time takes one to three business days.

Step 3.
Allocate Funds Between Loan Groups A and B

Investors have the option to choose between different loan groups that vary in terms of risk and reward. Each loan group boasts its own unique success rate, annual interest, and repayment schedule. The loan options are divided into two groups: A and B. Loan Group A is considered to be less risky and offers a lower return on investment, whereas Loan Group B presents a higher risk but offers a higher potential return. The platform also provides information on the founders seeking loans in each group, enabling investors to make informed decisions.

Step 4.
Save Your Settings, Await Results

Your investment settings are automatically saved. You can reset all your investment settings before the end of the round but only until fundraising goals are reached. If you do not want to change your mind, just wait for the end of the round.
Once the round is over, loans are automatically created and funds are disbursed to businesses following your settings. You can view the round results on the Investing page, and we will send you an email.

Step 5.
Receive repayments

If you decide to invest in Loan Group A, you will receive a flat fee payment on the day following the end of the round, followed by a series of monthly repayments over the course of the next 6 months. On the other hand, if you opt for Loan Group B, all of your repayments will be received in the final month of the 6-month repayment period. As soon as you start receiving loan repayments, the information will be updated on the Loans page, and we will send you an email.
