New APR Tracking Feature Now Live on Scramble!

We're excited to announce a brand new feature on Scramble that will help you stay on top of your financial goals.

New APR Tracking Feature Now Live on Scramble!

APR (Annual Percentage Rate) tracking is now available directly from your dashboard! This powerful tool allows you to easily monitor and manage your APR so you can make informed decisions about your investments. Whether you're looking to maximize your returns or track your progress over time, APR tracking is here to make your financial journey smoother and more efficient.

How is my APR calculated?

Your APR is calculated by considering the following factors:

  1. All deposits and withdrawals made up to the date of calculation.
  2. Your current balance, including both cash and bonuses.
  3. All future payments based on your repayment schedule, including loan principal and earnings.

We then apply the XIRR formula to calculate your APR. For more details on the formula, click here.

While there are different methods available to calculate APR, on Scramble, we use the XIRR formula, which is widely recognized for its accuracy in handling irregular payment schedules and varying amounts.

How to maximize your APR

To get the most out of your investments, here are some helpful tips for increasing your APR:

  • Reinvest regularly: Reinvesting your earnings can significantly grow your balance and increase your APR over time. Learn more about the benefits of reinvesting here.
  • Regular top-ups: Adding funds to your account regularly will improve your overall returns and increase your APR. Get more details on how regular top-ups affect your APR here.
  • Follow the Increased Income rule for Group A: By following the Group A 1% rule, you will ensure that your portfolio is optimized for the best APR. Explore the 1% rule and its benefits here.
  • Participate in bonus promotions: Special promotions can offer extra rewards that contribute to a higher APR, so don't miss out! Find out how bonus promotions can boost your APR here.
  • Minimize withdrawals: Reducing the frequency of small withdrawals helps maintain compounding growth and avoids unnecessary transaction fees, ensuring your investment continues to grow over time. Read more on how to optimize your withdrawal strategy here.

We hope these tips will help you achieve your financial goals more efficiently.
