Founded by Charlotte and Jolyon, Napton Cidery is very much a family affair. While Jolyon perfects the cider recipes, Charlotte manages the shop and taproom at Holroyd House Farm. Over the years, their dedicated team has grown, helping expand operations without ever compromising the brand’s values. Visitors can now enjoy a pint onsite, explore limited edition ciders, apple cider vinegar, and a hand-picked selection of local craft beer, wine, and spirits.
Napton Cidery’s commitment to quality has not gone unnoticed. Their Vintage Perry won the World’s Best Still Perry 2024, while also earning accolades at the IWSC Alternative Drinks Awards 2023. Over the years, multiple ciders have been recognized at the International Cider Challenge and Great Taste Awards, reflecting the care and expertise poured into every batch. From their signature Recipe No5 to limited edition Perry, each product is crafted with precision, patience, and passion.
The brand is built on eco-conscious practices. Every ingredient is sourced locally where possible, apples come from traditional unsprayed orchards, and the team takes steps to reduce environmental impact across production. From glass flagons that can be refilled onsite to 100% compostable carrier bags and recyclable packaging, Napton Cidery is committed to preserving the harmony of nature that makes their cider possible.
Their recently approved distillery license allows all production onsite, reducing transport and further minimizing the brand’s carbon footprint. Even cleaning products are natural, often using apple cider vinegar, underscoring their dedication to eco-friendly practices.

The brand’s journey began with support from nearby pubs like The Folly Inn and Napton Village Stores, which continue to champion their ciders today.
